Reader's Theatre
Reader's Theatre is regarded as a minimal theatre in support of literature and reading. It is an interactive oral reading activity introduced to develop children's awareness and appreciation for scripted plays, poems and stories. At the same time, it provides opportunities for children to use oral reading as a mean of interpreting and understanding characters.
After 2 months of practise, Ian and his classmates put up a fantastic performance with stories from Goldilocks & the 3 bears, I don't like custard and Spooky Ghost. There was a one minute segment for children to perform with their dad or mum. Ian & I read a short story from Firefighter to the Rescue. I must say we did a great job with that.
Well done Ian! We are very very proud of you! :)
