I need a break!

As part of Pat's Schoolhouse tradition, K1 students have the honor to invite their daddies & mummies to watch the CNY performance. There were 3 Acts from K1. The first Act was the story of Nian and Ian was part of the main cast! He was totally engaged in the performance. My favorite was the 2nd Act from Class of Andy Warhoal. We were very proud of Ian. He remembered every movement of his Act. Well done, Ian! The performance ended with all of them singing a "pai nian" song to us, parents. Ian actually remembered every word of the mandarin song. Boy, aren't we proud of our little man! :)

Masterpiece from Ian & Megan

As we usher into the year of Ox, one of the chins tradition is to try taking a perfect family portrait on CNY. Judging at the outcome, we may have to wait another year. Ian is definitely liking the camera more these days and we are confident dear megan will get there eventually. Regardless, the kids had plenty of fun and cheer celebrating the lunar new year.
